The GORUCK M23 backpack takes its inspiration from the M1945 backpack which served the American army during the Second World War and which owes its name to its year of manufacture. It was this model that inspired GORUCK to develop the M23 backpack, also named after the year it was manufactured and released.

GORUCK designers kept what they aimed for in the M1945: the top loading, exterior pockets and front buckles and transposed it into a modern backpack. They upgraded the M1945, to the GORUCK standard of extra padded shoulder straps and top handle, highest quality YKK zippers, streamlined closure system, bomb-proof laptop compartment and now more pockets for even more organization.

The GORUCK M23 bag is lightweight, discreet for everyday carry and made from durable materials you can trust. Available in 21 and 26 liters, the M23 is guaranteed for life.
